Worst quality over the long term. Fan blades started disintegrating after two years, now the hinge on the left-hand side has failed so that the housing is now broken. The keys are losing their paint or cover. This was used only for business purposes and not even as a gaming notebook. Speed was OK, but the sound is terrible for a Gaming notebook, even cheaper smaller notebooks have better quality sound. Would never recommend or buy an MSI again, rather stick to better name brands like Dell.

I own the GP72 Leopard and don't know what color the sky is in the world of the person giving it negative reviews. It boots up from a completely shutdown state, to a fully operational state in 8 seconds. The Operating System is on a Solid State Drive and the the Data Files are kept on a very fast Standard Hard Drive. My Laptop is loaded up with Software, which in the past has slowed my other computers to a crawl, and this computer is still screaming fast. Maybe the Windows 10 Fastboot setting was set incorrectly on the model the reviewer had. If that is the case, the reviewer should have known enough to change it.

To be honest it is not the best but it is still a very good notebook and it has been serving me well for a year now but whatever people say its about what you are used to .I use it to play games and currently have had no problems whatsoever .but i do agree that i gets moderately quick but a few setting changes with the avg options and overclocking it i have overcome this problem .So if anyone is thinking of not buying ,don't put it off yet .also i have owned many laptops through the years but this one is my personal portable gamer when i'm away from home or just don't want to sit in a office chair all day.It runs movies smoothly and also good picture quality. I must say though that windows 10 doesn't do it justice because of the inaccessibility to some settings. :)

Worst of all: irreversible overheating problems, they throw the model entirely out of its gaming spec. After 6 months of gaming there's nothing left to do other than ask for a refund.

Family duel. Alongside the GT, GS and GE series of gaming notebooks, MSI has also released their GP62 and GP72 entry-level models. We just reviewed the 15-inch version -- now let's turn our attention to the 17-inch model. We've recorded our impressions here.
