I daily work on HP Elitebook 8470P and Elitebook 8570W: maybe they are not perfect, but I love both on many peculiar sides.

Worst laptop with battery and screen issues.
Absolutely  not a functional laptop.

My IT guy still has one of these with an upgraded processor because of the Firewire port.

He had to lock down the network because of the increasing number of security issues with USB mass storage devices, and the Firewire port lets him transfer files with relative safety because most people don't know what a Firewire port is or that they can use it to attach an external hard drive.

STRENGTH

- HP 6470b i7. It works perfect for me. real fast.
- Lesser weight as compared to other business laptop.
- I Changed the drive to an SSD drive and made a dualboot with Linux Mint 17.
- Startup is 6sec. and shutdown time on Linux Mint is 3sec. for windows is  7sec startup and 5sec. on shutdown
- Good battery life, discharges slowly and charges quickly.

WEAKNESS

- bad screen brightnessÇ
- screen resolution of 1366 x 768 (highly inacceptable as compared to other bands)
- enter key is small
- no HDMI, cable adapter is needed
- no dedicated graphics card

I have the sister model, the 15" version. Great laptop (got it cheap)! It has DISPLAYPORT, which is miles better than hdmi and futureproof - all you need is a $5 cable. HOWEVER, beware, these have either toshiba hdds, or Hitachi Z7K500 drives which pop quite often.

The worst laptop ever I got at a workplace. Very heavy, thick casing, no hdmi, no bluetooth, worst touchpad and no backlit keyboard. Can't believe companies are providing this laptop to employees. on the plus side, very good battery life.

This is the worst laptop I have ever used. You cannot rest your left palm on the area next to the mouse pad while typing because it will cause the mouse to click... this is difficult to explain, but I'll be composing an email and the mouse clicks randomly and suddenly I've jumped to a different area or if the mouse happens to be over the 'send' button it will send the message before I even finish typing.  This laptop is provided to me by my employer and it is the biggest, most frustrating, piece of garbage I have ever used.  While the spec's look decent on paper for an office device, actually functionality is horrid.

+ Sturdy as fu*k
+ Superfast startup, with the SSD (9.sec)
+ Good batterylife
+ Fast battery-recharge
+ Good keyboard response
+ The best connectivity.
+ Easy maintenance

- Heavy as Fu*k
- Bad touchpad response
- Low quality display (HD)
- No backlit keyboard

If buying one go for the HD+ display and SSD.

The enter/return key is ridiculously small, and I always end up hitting Pg Up or Pd Down instead.  Very frustrating when editing in Excel.

Business to go. Beside its 15 inch ProBook range, HP also offers a smaller version for business people who value mobility. The ProBook 6470B provides a full-blown Office device in a small size with Intel's dual-core processor and integrated Intel HD graphics card, a matte 14 inch HD ready screen and many interfaces.
