Intel hat auf dem Mobile World Congress seine neuen 64-Bit-SoCs Merrifield und Moorefield für mobile Geräte wie Tablets und Smartphones vorgestellt. Im Schwerpunkt stand dabei Merrifield, der noch im ersten Halbjahr 2014 erscheinen soll. Die Atom-SoCs sollen den Snapdragon 800 herausfordern.
