Brightness can be set up on maximum level when laptop is plugged off as well. You just need to set it up first on maximum level in the bios.

Very nice articel!

One question though. You wrote that: "The ambient light sensor was disabled for consistency in measurements."

I am wondering how you did that, since it isn't available in my BIOS :(

Its got all that anyone would want in their portable. 12.5" screen is ideal. Super  8)
