At FPS gaming I would strictly recommend a more powerful VGA, as the GTX765M or higher like GTX770M, paired with an adequate Intel Core i7. You budget will allow this. Actually I also recommend to consider a barebone solution. For this please have a look to mysn.de / or if you prefer the UK page mysn.co.uk . This is a German reseller of Clevo and MSI Barebones. In your case, have a look to the A503 Notebook. You can configure your equipped hardware and customize your notebook individually. For roughly 1137 you can have a

Sorry for the german config, but I guess you will be able to translate. This config includes an SSD drive and you might also take the better Wifi-Card to also be able to use the 5 Ghz band (Advanced). This config unfortunately misses a Windows operating system, but you could organise a legal copy at Ebay or maybe you already own one, that you could use.
Thank you for answer. My budget is low about 1200-1300$ or 960 euro + - ... I want play some FPS like Battlefield 3, ... sometimes strategy like SimCity but prefer FPS games. :) Now i have old desktop and i will move to college so i need some Notebook for kill boredom :)
I totally agree to TheSaint. The Asus is using outdated hardware (3630) and has the weaker VGA. The MSI has a much better graphics card, but the CPU is a pretty weak one.
I think, it is a question of your budget, whats fitting better, but I definitely assume, that there will be better, at least cheaper solutions for you. as TheSaint requested already we would need more detailed requirements to make a better recommendation.
Hello, the gaming performance of the MSI ist much higher but the Asus is the nicer Notebook to be honest i wouldn´t take one of them can you tell us how big is your budget and what games do you like to play maybe we can give you some better fitting devices
