depends on your OS eyal.
I own this laptop since a year, and I am very happy with it, may be one of my best buys ever, for real!
Let me explain, I bought a 1700€ config from mysn, and a f***** year after, it is still competing very well against the same price range laptops available on market today. And this is true only if you don't give a care about the onkyo speakers that remind me of self home made speakers I build in the nineties, nor the noise when "under pressure".
Solid, well built.

I have this notebook too with both a SSD crucial M500 and a Segate HDD and I have a strange behavior of the SSD that gets very warm even when is idle (50/55°C). Have anyone the same issue?

I have this notebook, but there is no sound blaster cinema inside. On the clevo site they have realtek drivers, and I found out myself that VIA is my manufacturer of my soundcard. But I have a Sound blaster sticker on my case.

Does anybody know if the SPDIF is optical of Coaxial? Optical doesn't work on my laptop so I'll try a coaxial cable.

i don't get the 'load test' runtime of 2h4m, if the laptop is consuming 95w under load, and the battery is 77wh, that means the battery can supply 77 watts for 1hour right? to run for 2h the battery would have to be 190wh?!

"The XMG A523 aims at gamers who want a high performance but are unwilling to put out the extra cash for better parts."

Which 15" would you recommend that has the same specs but more quality components (including high quality case and keyboard)? Seems like the Asus G750 and the AW 17 are both such systems but for me personally they are too heavy and bulky.

Thanks for the review

For individualists. Schenker's XMG A523 offers cutting edge hardware in a plain casing. While the GeForce GTX 765M is not removable, the other components can be configured individually. We examined the 15 inch laptop and now report about our findings.
