Buyer Beware!  I am highly disappointed with the Sony Vaio Duo 13.  Not only is the built-in wireless adapter described by this reviewer weak, it is also defective.  I had to replace the device 3 times because the wireless adapter stopped working altogether-THREE times!  This all happened within the first month of purchase so I was still able to get a full refund. I traded in the Sony for a Dell XPS 12 instead.  It comes with a high performing dual band wireless adapter, which is the most important feature for this category of device.

I would not recommend to anybody to buy the Sony Vaio Duo 13.
The Sony Vaio Duo 13 has huge problems with the Wi-Fi System. Just google "Sony Vaio Duo 13 Wi-Fi" and lots of posts will come up. The worst is that customer service of Sony plays around with the clients; they do not admit the problem until it becomes absolutely obvious to the customer.

Moreover, they are only offering an external adaptor as a possible solution, loosing one port, and having to carry an extra thing.

Furthermore, I am currently having a very bad experience with customer service. They took my computer a month ago for repair, and they told me they will not return my computer until December the 20th!! I have complained many times but they are not willing to provide me with an alternative solution.

No mini-DisplayPort for an external monitor, this is a no buy.

wifi doesn't even reach 15m with a direct line of sight? Have you contacted Sony about this? I can't believe such terrible wifi performance was approved for a final product.

Not quite your ordinary tablet. 11 becomes 13. How large does a slider convertible have to become in order to allow its user to work comfortably with Windows? How sturdy is the hinge? And what kind of performance levels can be expected from the Haswell ULV CPU? We've got the answers.
