Die CPUs nutzen zwar den namentlich selben Socket, aber Chipsatz und Bios unterstützen die Sandy Bridge CPU sicherlich nicht.
FCPGA übrigens = Flip Chip Pin Grid Array

Grafikkarte tauschen geht nur bei Notebooks mit MXM Slot und selbst da ist das besorgen einer passenden Grafikkarte meist nicht wirklich leicht (und finanziell kaum lohnend).

Hallo,
ich habe ein Sony VAIO VPCF1 mit einem 740QM Prozessor, nVidia 425M und 8GB Ram.

Ich hätte ein 2630QM zur Verfügung, könnte ich die denn in mein VAIO einsetzen?
Laut Intel hat der 740QM : PGA988 Sockel
der 2630QM : FCPGA988 Sockel

Für was steht das FC davor?

Die Graka kann man wohl nicht tauschen richtig?
