Also confirmed with 8gb additional ram, simple procedure.
Installed 8gb corsiar vengeance CL10 SODIMM DDR3 ram, made a big difference.
My windows experience before on 4Gb was the same as this article, and afterward the 8Gb more the graphics went up to 5.4 (from 4.6) and the memory went up to 7.4 (from 5.9).

I confirm that for the second hard drive. 1) order by sony service the adapter SKT SATA 22P LD3022J-S4QL L SATA  and 2) buy any 2,5 inches low profile 7mm ssd or hdd. It works fine. Hope I helped you. Greetings from Greece!

The Sony information is wrong. I installed a second internal storage device (Western Digital Scorpio 7mm height 500 GB) with an L-Sata-Adapter (delivered by Sony Service) and it works after the second restart without any problem. Greetings from Switzerland.

Touch-book. Sony is affordable. A real SSD, high-end aluminum chassis and touchscreen for EUR 885. A premium Vaio for little money?
