ARM will mit neuen 64-Bit-SoCs ab 2014 die Leistung von Smartphones und Tablets verdreifachen. Als Grundlage für den enormen Leistungsschub dient die neue ARMv8-Architektur. Geplant sind die Modelle Cortex-A53 und den Cortex-A57.
