Also den Test kannte ich schon und in Spielen ist der Mobile nur schneller, da Games nicht mehr als 4 Kerne nutzen. Ausserdem ist ein Core i7 2920XM bei 2,5 GHz viel besser auf Spiele eingestellt als ein i7 980X mit 3,3 GHz. Was also den schluss zulässt, das ein Core i7 2630QM (2 GHz Quad Core) schneller ist als ein Core i7 920 (4x 2,67 GHz) oder Core i5 750.

Notebooks sind ja jetzt eh im Optimalen Leistungslevel, die GTX 485M und ein Core i7 2920XM sind Chips mit Desktop Power, zwar kein vergleich zum Core i7 2600k und einer GTX 580, aber nah dran an einer GTX 560 oder HD 6950 Desktop.

Mobile Prozessoren schließen in Hinsicht Leistung zunehmend zu ihren Desktop-Pendant auf. Die Kollegen von Tom's Hardware erkunden, ob diese gar schon den leistungstechnischen Gleichstand erreicht haben.
