Hallo!

Ein Freund von mir, möchte in seinem IBM R50 (IPS Flexview) sein altes DVD ROM entfernen und dafür ein DVD-RW in den Ultraybay Enhanced Schacht stecken.

Da die originalen IBM Laufwerke noch weit über 100€ kosten, fragen wir uns, ob man nicht das, auch von IBM original OEM verbaute, LG GSA-T20N Laufwerk ohne Blende für 30€ kauft und die Blende und die Rahmenkomponenten des alten Laufwerkes verwendet!

Hat jemand schon Erfahrung damit gemacht?

Würde das funktionieren?
