Current iGPU have roughly the same performance or even better, but for upgrading a very old system with a mediocre PSU, it might be a good catch.

AMD Radeon RX 6500, a lower-end RX 6500 XT, has now been confirmed by a Chinese AIB. The board has a low power requirement, as it features an RDNA 2 Navi 24 GPU like the RX 6500 XT.
