The question is, though: is the display resolution actually 1600(RGB)x1200, or is it 1600(R/G/B)x1200 with a single primary per cell? I seem to recall a standalone E-Ink desktop monitor that had several issues, one of which was this one.
Bigme is about to launch a new monitor with a color e-ink panel, which is intended to be used as a secondary display for a MacBook or other laptop. Touch inputs are supported as well.
