Too bad the V3 is an affordable option. I was hoping for a compact power zoom with a few video features and some incredible zoom shots with that sensor. But seeing it'll be a lower tier version, compromise might include smaller sensor (1 inch?) or lesser video capabilities. But I just hope the zoom and sensor size stays tho.
Canon executives at Japan's CP+ show have hinted that new Canon compact cameras are on the way, confirming that the PowerShot V1 will be the flagship of the lot. They also dropped subtle hints that recent leaks of a new compact APS-C camera were credible.
