Needs some rewording. The Galaxy G Fold WILL have a cover display, just like every other foldable. It just doesn't use its inner display as the cover because that compromises durability. The mate doesn't actually have a true cover display, as using its inner display doesn't count. It's worded like foldables haven't already thought of the great idea of having a different display for the inside and outside portion of the phone.
The Huawei Mate XT is now available outside China with a 10.2-inch triple-folding display that also shrinks to a 6.4-inch cover display. According to a new report, Samsung's response could ship with an even larger cover display that would also exceed that of the Galaxy Z Fold6.
