Agree.  Just learned I cannot use eco credits on any of the early February deals.  Was about to pull trigger on eco delta ultra plus smart panel at $6500.  Called and they said "no stacking." Clearly more interested in acquiring new customers than keeping current customers.  Now this.

Subscription nonsense has me rethinking whether I want to even keep what I have.  Certainly not going to purchase anything new.

Why charge customers more money for services just to unlock features because of a apk to use on there product is terrible it's a shame that they have to be vampires sucking every last drop of money you have . Business now days are loosing customers because they have gotten greedy ecoflo I was going to order a second solar generator until I read this now I'm thinking about trying another brand I love my ecoflo river but I might sell it now especially if you start charging people to unlock what should be free. I'm sorry but we the people are to broke to keep paying to use a product we have paid cash for already

Great way to sell fewer power stations. Not so sure it's a great way to make more money though.

Ecoflow, don't break/change your business model now!

The reason I purchased your products( 2 delta 2, River, extra battery, high voltage car charger) was your included and fantastic app and controls. At the time you were the best.

Other companies are hot on your heels now. If you start charging to open features, I'll jump ship and find a manufacturer who doesn't. If you need more revenue, simply adjust your pricing accordingly, but keep the features available to anyone who graciously purchased your product. Your greed will be your downfall.

Loving my ecoflow products! Don't ruin it ecoflow!!! And do yourself a favor, fire the committee who even brought this up to your stock holders.......the only way you make money is from US, the consumers!

I own two ecoflow products and was looking to invest heavily into more of your ecosystem. You've just lost a customer for life. There's no way I am going to risk getting screwed by some future subscription bs. I'll go with another company who actually values their customer base.

BMW tried this and it didn't work out well for them.

Long time Ecoflow client. They used to be the best. Now, I am out. Plenty of choice and competition. I even plan other brands now. Congratulations Ecoflow!

I'll actively avoid ecoflow if this is the case. They should study Arlo very carefully. Arlo is now irrelevant and dying, caused irreparable damage to their reputation due to greed.

This bull is getting old, it's not enough that these products in and of themselves are expensive as hell, but to charge for the soft ware usage is pure greed. I was just gonna no to purchase MORE of their products since I was pleased with the Delta 3 plus but oh well, Anker it is.

These subscriptions for inherent services/features have to end somewhere. Maybe with advanced, whole home type solutions a subscription for whole-home/IoT remote management style features could make sense, so long as it is a very reasonable and cheap price. But if they try to lock basic management features on sub-$1000 power stations behind a pay-wall , I hope the user base raises hell because that is just straight sillyness and borderline theft. There is only so much of this we will all take and put up with.
