We have had complete exhaustive reviews of the x200 pro for a couple months now.  We have known the x200 pro is by far beyond any question the best camera phone on the market. The most infuriating thing about the x200 pro and last years x100 ultra is they are utilizing a 1inch SAMSUNG HP9 200mp sensor!! That right Samsung creates the best 1inch phone camera sensor but refuses to utilize it in their own devices and only allows their competition to use it!!! The s25 series is literally identical to the s24 series besides a new processor and Samsung changing the rediculous 12mp ultra-wide to an old 50mp ultrawide. The Western Market has been manipulated for years by Samsung, Google and Apple! The big three companies have a monopoly on the Western markets and have been essentially protected from tgeir far superior outside competition!  The camera sensors are truly mediocre, they continue to use old battery technology, continue to utilize old ltpo display technology. The majority of global Flagship devices out of China utilize new silicon carbon battery tech, new ltpo display technology, and far superior camera sensors! To be honest the only reason people are buying Samsung Google and apple is because people are unaware that the devices they're buying are completely inferior to the Chinese flagships.. not only that the OnePlus 13 that can be purchased for a mid-tier price has bigger camera sensors than any of the Samsung Google and Apple phones, utilizes The Noose silicon carbon Battery Tech and has 80 W wired charging and 50 watts wireless.. for some stupid reason the United States regulations forced one plus to downgrade the charging speed from 100 watts to 80 Watts! With that said the X100 Ultra and X200 pro has been out for quite some time and we have seen thousands upon thousands of examples of photos! We have seen Direct comparisons with $3,000 professional cameras that were almost indistinguishable!! The X200 Pro being the best camera phone on the market for at least the next two years is not news!

You wrote "downgrade of the 1-inch sensor to a 1/1.3-inch image sensor. The latter will also likely apply to the Vivo X100 Ultra's successor, which will also have a slightly smaller sensor, but will utilize three cameras of roughly the same size."

1/1.3-inch sensor is not slightly smaller than 1-inch sensor. Sensor area of 1-inch sensor is 116 mm2. Sensor area of 1/1.3-inch is 69 mm2. It is 40% percent smaller. I am using Pixel 6a. I am living in Belgium. I am planning to go to Hong Kong this summer to buy some electronics. I want Vivo X200 ultra but if this downgrade will happen, I will never buy definitely.

Vivo has advertised its Vivo X200 Pro as the ultimate camera flagship of 2025, even though interested buyers will still have to wait a few more months before it actually becomes available. Expected to feature a 35mm main camera for the first time, we now also know what the Vivo X200 Ultra will look like thanks to a certification.
