Annoying that they're not learning.. it's the 16GB RAM that kill performance on these, I had a Legion Go, but rid of it as I had to run most games on low settings..

I replaced it with a model which I could spec up to 64GB aRAM...and it was a game changer, suddenly I could run things like Hogwarts on Ultra.. it's also become my main "PC", I plug in my thunderbolt dock and I've got a decently powerful desktop, that I can use as a Python development environment.

16 GB is whatever. Cutting it close, but not the end of the world, imo. Battery is a massive L. I predict a little over an hour of battery life on that bad boy at any reasonable screen brightness. Even the ROG Ally X with its smaller display has 80 Wh...

11" display is really cool, but 1kg weight is not. This type of device desperately needs an ARM CPU. Hopefully someone (Valve) can develop a great x86-ARM emulator (Proton ARM?). Imagine thin and light iPad with controllers, it would be amazing!

Better late than never, Acer has finally entered the handheld gaming fray, introducing the 8-inch Acer Nitro Blaze and Acer Nitro Blaze 11, which features a gargantuan 11-inch, 144 Hz IPS display. Both devices are powered by AMD's Ryzen 7 8840HS and Radeon 780M iGPUs.
