This is long overdue... I cannot believe how much Chinese equipment is connected to LAN's in the US and abroad. TV's, routers, range extenders, home cameras... All directly connected to the Chinese government.

I never buy TP-Link. Only Asus or Ubiquity.

Been using a Xiaomi WiFi6 router bought from Aliexpress for over a year.  Best router I ever used and I have used plenty like Cisco, LinkSys.  TP-Link is like TCL it isnt even cream of the crop like Xiaomi and Hisense!

In other words, US doesn't like that a Chinese company has more market share (65% of US market) than US companies, so they want to kick them out.

The US government has commenced investigations into Chinese-owned TP-Link over security concerns related to its routers which are popular in the US. The sale of its routers, which are not only used in homes but also some government agencies, may eventually be banned.
