The magnets are too weak to hold anything securely. Hopefully, Samsung's engineers can do better.
Since the vast majority of people put cases on their phones, it's the strength of the magnets in the MagSafe/Qi2 case that matters, not the ones in the device.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup will reportedly support the Qi2 standard, making the Galaxy S25, S25 and S25 Ultra the first Android phones to support the charging standard after the HMD Skyline. Its implementation will determine whether users is going to benefit from this.
