A new feature surreptitiously added to iOS 18.1 automatically reboots an iPhone after a set period of inactivity. This feature, dubbed "inactivity reboot," puts the iPhone in a more secure state after it has sat idle for four days, making it almost impossible to crack into, even with sophisticated tools.
