Eliminate that webcam bump. It detracts from the aesthetic. Just make the bezel thicker instead. Or work on reducing the size of the camera.

Space the ports further apart. There is plenty of estate available on the chassis or the board.

It's not "ultralight", their browsing test even includes running js benchmark periodically.

This phrase defines everything. In real browsing, the numbers will have to be divided by 2 times.

Setting aside the handicapped x86 application support, over 22 hours or more than 1,320 minutes of ultralight browsing on only 58Wh is extremely impressive all on it's own considering that only the M3 Pro Macbook Pro 16 2023 with a 99.6Wh battery comes close at around 1,200 minutes or 20 hours.

The next 3 closest laptops are Windows devices:

  • [86Wh] Lenovo ThinkPad T16 G2 @ 1,130 minutes or just over 19 hours
  • [78.6Wh] HP Elitebook 1040 G7 @ 1,128 minutes or just over 18.75 hours
  • [99.9Wh] MSI Prestige 16 B1MG @ 1,100 minutes or just over 18.25 hours

When you see body half empty instead of filled with battery, you can tell it's just another half assed laptop produced from whatever OEM parts were available.

Maybe if they stopped trying to cool these with a single fan and used a proper cooling system with 2 fans and heat pipes, like Apple does in pro, it wouldn't be as hot.

Two years after the first Snapdragon ThinkPad, Lenovo releases a new variant. The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 offers excellent battery life numbers, but compatibility can still be problematic in some cases.
