Suprised theres no class action on the wh-1000mx4 high frequency feedback screeching issue affecting everyone. Folks that bought them past warranty totally bummed with stories of hearing loss from sudden high pitch attack from right headphone. Not to mention the dreaded one bud draining to 0% battery in an hour issue with the buds.
Hopefully the WH-1000XM6 fix the regression that the WH-1000XM5 was. XM4 could be used for traveling (where noise cancelling is very relevant) whereas the XM5... definitely a nope on the new broken form factor. Sony, fix it ASAP!
Sony has not released any new WF-1000X or WH-1000X devices for a while now. With rumours suggesting that XM6 models may debut in early 2025, a potential WF-1000XM6 or WH-1000XM6 has now been spotted online in an early leak.
