It's important to note that while these discounts are significant, they might not be the lowest prices we'll see in the coming months. As we get closer to Black Friday and other holiday sales events, it's possible that even deeper discounts will become available.

I returned mine... Ill now wait for piel 9 to see if it performs a lot better... the fingerprint scanner was bad, the phone was slow, the network connectivy was bad, the loading of the paages were slow, it isnt very different than pixel 7 pro... you are paying for the same hardware of a pixel 7 pro as if it is a brand new phone.

This is the main problem with Android. Their price drops very soon and too much. This behaviour encourages consumer to never buy during launch and also not buy from that company. Android manufacturers are axing their own foot.

This shows that Android phones are not worth their price and their actual price is way less than the msrp.

Apple is the best in pricing (not cheap). They build a high quality device and take high margins and didn't reduce the price throughout the year until next launch and even then the price is not that much lowered as compared to android.

Just four weeks after its launch, the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 are already receiving steep discounts in Australia. While it is not unusual for Google to discount its new Pixels over the Black Friday sales period, the discounts have hit early and are much larger than we've typically seen this early into a launch cycle.
