Writing from Precision 5560 (not bought. but given by employer).

Pros - good screen. Decent battery life. Compact.

Cons - cooling system is way too weak to deal with CPU (for that money they could have added vapour chamber). Melts in closed / docked state as you have 100% blocked exhaust, so can't close it, put it under monitor and work. Shallow keyboard, but that's expected, though better than on previous precision I had (5520). Only 4GB GPU, which h is a joke for prof. 3D application (I am CAD and CAE eng.). Design over function, which as a professional I don't care about.

Great laptop, love it. Nice screen and excellent display. Don't like the keyboard though as the keys are very shallow

I am writing this on a 5560. My overall impression--

Dim screen
Heavy and hard to carry but not that thin
Terrible  performance

Love the keyboard. Deep and if you are a writer or programmer, you are going to love it. I might sell this and get a HP just for the keyboard. The trackpad is tiny, absolute great use of space. The keyboard it what I need and not the tiny small trackpad.
The up and down keys are halved. Which genius thought of this we will never know but it makes the keyboard even worse
There is no dedicated PageUp or Down key as such and you have to use the Func button. Once again, horrible keyboard.
Battery life-not that great and I have barely started using this machine

All in all, don't buy it if you are looking for a good keyboard. It will be a waste of money.

A2000 is 4 Gb RAM GPU. Weak for most 3D work.

And how a 11850H can only get 9xxx in Cinebench R23 multi !?  when a Alienware can get 14000 in 11800H ?

Good screen and 32 RAM and that is about it. A 1100 euro "civilian" laptop can be much better than this 3000 "professional" one.

Last year's Precision 5550 was a huge leap over the Precision 5540 in terms of performance and design. This year's Precision 5560 is a more minor step up but not without a few surprises along the way.
