Thanks for the suggestion.  Yeah, by the time of Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, not only will the AI 9 HX 370-based mini PCs be out, there will also be competitive versions to choose from including Beelink and AooStar in addition to Minisforum.  I currently own a Minisforum UM790M Pro, but I do want to get one of these AMD AI 9 HX 370 equipped Mini PCs.  Although the UM 790 Pro has served me well, I am leaning towards AooStar as its replacement.  It has two advantages over both Beelink and Minisforum.  (1) Oculink port (dedicated, no need M.2 slot) and the Aoostar can install three (3) SSDs internally.  I presume that could be RAIDed but even if not, I like the idea of having 4TB x3 in a mini PC for video editing, rendering, etc.  I am not much of a gamer.  And if I like the Aoostar enough, I may get a second one as a backup failsafe system to synchronize too.  Doing so, I would have protection via RAID redundancy and also protection against a complete failure of one system by being to fall back on a second system.  At least that is my current thinking.

I would wait a bit until this year or at least until Black Friday and Christmas, one of the most specialized companies in these products is MINISFORUM, just as it was the first to compete against the Surface with the MINISFORUM V3, watch it on YouTube.

The AOOSTAR GEM10 370 is one of the first Strix Point mini PCs, and the company has just revealed the pre-sale price for the Chinese market. This new mini PC has a pre-order price of CNY 5,699 for the 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage variant. That converts to around $808, which isn't affordable.
