Sony has unveiled the ISX038 sensor with simultaneous RAW and YUV image output for assistive and autonomous driving systems, reducing the number of camera sensors needed in modern automotive vehicles. A dynamic range of up to 130 dB in HDR mode allows for the detection of objects from bright light and twilight.
