Chinese researchers have developed a new cooling coating for buildings that operates without electricity, is environmentally friendly, and automatically adjusts its cooling capacity based on sunlight intensity. In a practical test, a 20 percent reduction in temperature was observed compared to an uncoated concrete roof.
