At the end of a 122-day effort, xAI's development team has managed to bring the most powerful AI training system in the world to date online. For now, it has 100k H100 GPUs, but Musk claims that the number will double in a few months. Google topped at 90k GPUs, while OpenAI's top-of-the-line AI training system sports 80k GPUs.
