A research team from POSTECH and Korea University has demonstrated that Electrochemical Random Access Memory (ECRAM) devices can bump up AI computational performance. Published in Science Advances, their study shows that ECRAM, with its three-terminal structure and low power operation, outperforms traditional memory in AI applications. The team's successful implementation of a 64×64 array of ECRAM devices and the application of the Tiki-Taka algorithm shows promise for future applications.
