So eventually Sony confirmed the bad effects of smaller size E-mount.

Sony can't make 85mm f/1.2 lens like Cannon and Nikon. Also their best G-master lenses suffers from heavy focus breathing (and if you compensate then you won't get the actual focal length shot and quality since it crops the image/video).

Cannon is also famous for it's cripple hammer.

Nikon is the only one whose lens category have fast primes (58mm f/0.95) designed especially to have very less or no focus breathing.

"original FE 85mm f/1.4 GM lens, which has been praised for its exceptional image quality"

Reading Sony PR too much?

This lens is known for lacking image quality, easily beaten by Sigma for half the price.

Sony has delayed the release of its highly anticipated FE 85mm f/1.4 GM II lens until late August, hinting a broader product refresh strategy from the company. While details are still scarce, rumors point to potential new camera models and lenses, including a possible successor to the FX9 and a faster 24-70mm GM lens. Sony has confirmed that the A7V full-frame camera will not be released in 2024.
