Its wild that they thought people would use a native samsung messaging app.... People who use android natively dont even use texting anymore.... The only reason why you'd use texting is to communicate w/ hyper normies, elderly, and iphone people.... And even among iphone uses people dont even use imessage unless youre american

As per 9to5Google, Samsung is dropping its own messaging app on new Galaxy phones in favor of Google Messages. Google is already driving RCS messaging, and this move will only align with the same. RCS has already been proved to be more secure and feature-rich than standard messaging protocols. While Samsung Messages can still be downloaded from the Galaxy Store, some features might be missing.
