they just want to cool down the backlash, then they will change their policy step by step to enforce it on everyone. This is the same strategy they have been using from long time now
this is a company that makes profit by selling user data, it's not a software company anymore.

Sounds nice and all but we all know Microsoft will change your settings without informing you via updates. Whatever policy they have right now can and probably will change later on.

Ausnahmsweise wie bei Apple ist das Gleiche bei Microsoft sehr gut und konform zur Europäischen Datenschutzgrundverordnung usw.

Was bleibt ist die Frage nach dem SSD-Füllen. Wird man die Speichernutzung von Recall wie bei Papierkorb oder Wiederherstellungspunkten prozentual begrenzen können? Andernfalls könnte man als Nutzer zu wenig Speicher haben und altern Datenträger zu schnell.
