I still own a Fuji laptop with a 3D polarized display (complete with twin camera's on the top) and a vintage (now) Sony "Bloggie 3D" camera.
Some of us might remember Nvidia's venture into Stereoscopic 3D gaming with their "3D Vision" product (canceled).
Long before "VR" was making the news "Tomb Raider 2013" (and both of its sequels) have NATIVE S3D modes that were/are AWESOME to play/use if you had the equipment to render+display+play them.
So maybe just maybe "content creators" will keep SOME of the S3D ecosystem alive?
Acer is building upon its SpatialLabs 3D ecosystem with the launch of the SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera, a compact weatherproof camera that can not just capturing stereoscopic photos and videos but also supports 3D livestreaming and video conferencing. The camera features a weatherproof body and selfie mirror, and will be available in Q3 of this year for $549.
