Übernahme von ATI könnte sich erstmals bezahlt machen - Intels "Centrino" bekommt Konkurrenz
Die Chiphersteller AMD und ATI wollen noch im laufenden Jahr gemeinsam eine Notebook-Plattform präsentieren. Die unter dem Codenamen Yokohama entwickelte Plattform soll eine Kombination von AMDs Turion 64 X2 Prozessoren und Chipsätzen von ATI sein. Damit soll ein Konkurrenzprodukt zu Intels Centrino-Notebooks geschaffen werden.
