According to a typically reliable Apple analyst, AI will play a greater role in the Mac ecosystem with Apple M4 chipsets onwards. Reportedly, Apple M4 upgrades will begin later this year but may not finish until later in 2025 with a special 'Hidra' chipset for the Mac Pro that could also support 512 GB of unified memory.
