If you want a work truck get the Ford Lightning, rubber floor and all. Exact body as the F150 so have at it with whatever customization you would like. Towing... 15k lbs. And the people complaining about range need to quit the one thing they have latched onto that they feel is actually legitimate. Do you forget how unbelievably less efficient your gas V8 is once you hitch a trailer up to it??? Exactly. I own a diesel 7.3 and a Lightning. The lightning has been able to do everything my diesel has done... and most often does it way better. Embrace change. It will eventually get less uncomfortable for you:)

This is a novelty item and not practical

Its not meant to be a work truck. Most people don't use their trucks as work trucks. Work trucks have a special trim level. They don't have carpet or leather seats.

Lack of options for construction needs make it almost unusable for a work vehicle. Tool boxes, ladder racks and sometimes towing a trailer will completely destroy the milage with the weight. Especially in a hilly area.

90% North American, of which Canada and Mexico are a part. So 10% comes from outside of NAFTA, or whatever the Oompa Loompa renamed the trade pact to.
