With over 56 years as a Type 1 diabetic with 28 years on a pump, the Beta Bionics new, FDA cleared insulin pump is by far the most revolutionary way to control diabetes. It requires a Dexcom G6 or G7 to function, enter your body weight then nothing else. It is ideal for those who do not count carbs and the closest pump to a functioning pancreas and priced a few thousand less than traditional pumps. My out of pocket copay is $800 where a new Tandem T-Slim is $1,600 with my current T-Slim is no longer under warranty so timing is perfect. I look forward to improved control which is what we all seek in battling and beating type 1 diabetes. This companies sale ends Feb. 29, so they are hoping to exploit those making rash decisions.
