I love my playdate, i think its lowkey one of the most innovative consoles since the switch. It has all the characteristics of a "fun" console, it doesn't take itself too seriously but the device itself is seriously fun. Its goofy and brings back retro vibes but at the same time the hardware is really smooth and efficient. The OS is the craziest part about it, its a really playfully designed OS everything always moves in really animated ways and the noises are spot on. The peculiar Playdate gaming handheld with a crank was previously only available with long delivery times of several months in some cases. Now, the device is finally in stock again. Thanks to Playdate's web-based store, far more games are now available than at launch when the catalog was initially limited to 24 titles.
