Many users of RTX 40 series GPUs, especially the RTX 4090, are still reporting the power cables burning and melting problem. This issue can be avoided with a secure connection, which requires a minimum space of 35 mm between the connector and the first bend. To make it easier to ensure this, Seasonic has recommended using a hair dryer to pre-bend the cables before installing the card.
