Good news, bad "news", and disappointment:

- The display is purportedly 3168 x 1440
- It's most likely PenTile RG/BG, not 3160(RGB) x 1440
- This constitutes a hefty misappropriation of the term "2K"

2K? So 1080p? What's impressive about that? 🤣

As someone who deals with BOE in the commercial space this is laughable.  BOE has the highest fail rate of all the panel manufacturers. I won't  be surprised when reports of dead displays start popping up at 6 months plus in the devices life span.

LOL what's so special about 2K, FHD is already 2K. Apple alone already offers higher than 2K OLED screens on iPhone Pro models.

The OnePlus 12 has not arrived yet, but OnePlus is already claiming to have broken over a dozen DisplayMate records. The OnePlus 12 will showcase BOE's first 2K AMOLED panel with extremely high peak brightness.
