Samsung is now said to have CMOS sensors with more than double the resolution than the Galaxy S23 Ultra's main camera in the works. Furthermore, they are now believed to be the same size as the class-leading Sony IMX989 from the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. That combination could deliver unprecedented picture quality and detail should they be installed in next generation smartphones.
