Shortly after Tesla started delivering the Model Y with the new Hardware 4 computer and infotainment system, a teardown has revealed that the new hardware actually features half the RAM and storage of the previous-generation HW3 configuration. This appears to be a cost-cutting measure, but it severely hampers the car's hyped ability to play Steam games.
