Der Einsatz der Soundplattform S3 Gen 2 von Qualcomm wird in naher Zukunft flexibler. Hersteller können nun basierend auf der Plattform auch Dongles anbieten, falls die Hardware S3 Gen 2 nicht bietet. Außerdem gibt es einen Gaming Mode mit 20 ms Latenz. Allerdings wird alte Hardware nur begrenzt einsetzbar sein.
