Hate to break it to you but you are not the only person running around. If they keep making it someone has to be buying it. Ultra wide it's getting more and more popular. It's pretty much the future.

I wish monitor manufacturers would get with the program. Nobody wants a 34 inch monitor and nobody wants a 49 inch monitor, we all would prefer 38-43in with 3840x1600 res. 160hz refresh. Some of us have to work on these monitors.

One disadvantage of the current QD-OLED monitors is the matte finish that reduces the contrast and produces slightly raised blacks when hit by light sources. This problem is finally alleviated with the introduction of the glossy finish on the upcoming second generation QD-OLED gaming monitors.
