Elon Musk reportedly went straight to the world's largest battery maker after the signing ceremony for Tesla's new Megafactory project in Shanghai. The 40 GWh Megafactory is expected to produce 10,000 packs a year and Elon Musk wants Tesla to have a firm foothold in China's supply chain with strong cluster of local partners.
