One day HP will include a dedicated GPU option so we can get heavy graphics work or light computational analysis on the move since the much heavier ZBook is not an option and the EliteBook 650 isn't as conducive to this type of work. Computing on the move enables collaboration, remote work, field engineering, etc. Hoping Lenovo, Dell, ASUS, Apple won't beat HP to this form factor and price point.
The HP EliteBook 1040 G10 and EliteBook x360 1040 G10 can now be configured with Intel's new Raptor Lake P and U class processors, up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM, 2 TB NVMe SSD and a 120 Hz screen. HP says it will reveal the laptops' prices and availability later this year.
