According to a new report, Apple continues to develop a new Mac Pro. However, production challenges have forced the company to re-think the processor options that will be available, with the Apple M2 Extreme consigned to the cutting room floor for now. The Apple M2 Extreme would have combined 48 CPU cores with 152 GPU cores by effectively fusing four Apple M2 Max chipsets.
