SO you are buying an AMD chip expecting to throw it in the trash when a better chip is available? Intel chips get to use less expensive boards and memory. In general most people who buy computers aren't interested in upgrading.
If you need a computer now and your workload benefits form multicores, buy Intel. If you hate money and can't wait for amd zen 4 3d then buy AMD.
Personally if you are buying a zen 4 chip you might need professional help. Wait for the zen 4 3d, the boards will be cheaper by then and ddr5 might be little cheaper too.
